Many people look for different ways to relax, improve their mood and live an overall better life. They work out at the gym, ride their bike, go to pilates, take yoga classes, do meditation, try to sleep better and drink calming tea or warm milk.
BUT, University of London researchers have discovered that going to a “live” concert will improve your mood more than going to yoga class or walking your dog. Those who spent at least 20 minutes at a concert had higher levels of wellness, compared to the other two groups by more than a 2-1 margin. Those at the concert had a 21 percent boost in their mood, while people who went to yoga had a 10 percent boost and dog walkers 7 percent. Increased wellness has been linked to a longer life span. So, instead of spending $200 on a new yoga outfit at Lululemon, you might want to go to see Billy Joel or Foreigner!
